ABOUT ME

Hi there! 👋

​I have worked as a writer, journalist, editor and marketing consultant in London and Canada for over 15 years, predominantly in the superyacht and luxury travel industry. I have post-graduate degrees in both English Literature from Goldsmiths University in the UK and Professional Editing Standards from Queens University in Canada, and I have enjoyed working with a number of varying industries during this time. 

Alongside my work as a freelance writer, I currently work as an editor for various large-scale clients, as well as take on my own freelance clients usually for full manuscript edits. My editing journey was further deepened when I published my first novel which enabled me to work on both sides of the editing process – both as an editor in my professional roles and as the writer accepting critiques from my editor. Both roles that require a certain finesse when working so closely together.

A recently published author, I can be found hiking, doing yoga, nursing a coffee in a local cafe or sipping a nice glass of red wine. I am currently based in Ottawa, Canada with my fiancé, our daughter, twin sons and beloved Rhodesian Ridgeback.
